DESCRIPTION:This three-hour event\, followed by lunch and refreshments\, is an ideal opportunity to take a step back and look at an alternative way of working and thinking about your business. \nAs well as providing a short overview of the SMAS Business Improvement Academy (BIA)\, it will explore how lean manufacturing can help engage people and create sustainable change. \nThere will also be an opportunity to engage in a short factory tour of Fife Fabrications Ltd. \nThe event is open to all manufacturers and producers large\, small and sector wide who wish to improve business efficiency. \nIt’s aimed at business leaders and managers who are looking to introduce a culture of change within the business and who wish to engage the workforce to look for opportunities to ‘do things better’ and deliver process improvements that can benefit the business.
