SUMMARY:Get hands on with collaborative robots for manufacturing SMEs
DESCRIPTION:Are you a manufacturing SME considering a move from manual to automated processes in a factory or production setting? \nHas Robotics always seemed out of reach from a cost and capacity perspective? \nThen it could be time to think (and look) again. \nSmart Hub Lanarkshire has teamed up with Business Gateway National and Scottish Enterprise to help manufacturing SMEs explore Collaborative Robots (Cobots). \nAnd this time\, it’s less about the theory and much more about the practice. \nWe invite manufacturing SMEs to participate in an interactive Cobot demonstration and learning session. \nThis will enable attendees to see Cobots in both an integrated (mini factory) and free-standing form. \nAttendees will be able to: \n\nObserve Cobots operating up close\nHave a go at basic programming and understand Cobot task capabilities\nLearn all about the multiple applications for Cobots in different manufacturing settings\nUnderstand the costs and Return on Investment (ROI) potential\n\nThe event is run by Smart Hub Lanarkshire and open to anyone across Scotland.
