Beer & Berries Festival Back at Hospitalfield
The annual Beers & Berries Festival is back! Come along to Hospitalfield for the free outside event on Saturday 12th September 2020 between 11am and 6pm. Programmed and organised with Feast Journal.
Beer & Berries is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the rich food and drink culture we have across Angus and Tayside. It’s a great day out for all, come along to buy food & drink from stallholders, sign up for spirited talks and inspiring workshops and meet local producers and growers all within the leafy grounds of Hospitalfield House.
Angus Growers will be back with us, proudly showcasing the best tasting berries in Scotland. Drinks will be served from the finest beer and spirit producers from across Tayside. There will be live music from Rick Redbeard and and DJ sets from The Phantom Band‘s Andy Wake and Django Django‘s Dave Maclean to complete the festival atmosphere.
Get into the detail of food production and join the Spirited Talks: Past to Present – Exploring the Shifting Demands of Farm Labour and Forward Thinking – Alternative Economies of Production and enter our Jam Competition.
Featuring the work of artists MyVillages & Company Drinks whose film ‘Foreign Pickers’ will be screened, and Sneha Solanki, with a foraging workshop as part of her project EATING | THINGS.
Scottish Government Guidelines regarding Covid 19 will be followed to make this a safe event for everyone.
Beer & Berries is supported by Connect Local Regional Food Fund and Creative Scotland.
