After receiving an overwhelming amount of entries to the inaugural Chamber Business Champion Award, we are delighted to announce the six shortlisted organisations and open the public voting!

The award, which has a prize fund worth £7,500 with the STV Growth Fund, has invited Chamber Members to demonstrate that they are a Champion of Dundee and Angus. Businesses across the region have been given the opportunity to tell their story, from supporting the local economy to promoting the region, working with local third sector organisations, connecting with local businesses to trade with and everything in between!

The six shortlisted for the award include Angus businesses Glen Clova Hotel and Rossie.

The six finalists will pitch their reason to win in front of a panel of five judges including Charandeep Singh, Deputy Chief Executive of Scottish Chambers of Commerce; Millie Clark, Team Leader at Angus Council; Hilary Roberts, Manager at Developing the Young Workforce, Dundee & Angus and Cllr Alan Ross, Convener of City Development at Dundee City Council.

The winner will be announced at the annual Angus High Noon Lunch being held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on Tuesday 17 September.
