Angus Council recognises the necessity of good digital connectivity for businesses. We are aware that connection is a challenge for many and therefore we have invested funding into wireless broadband infrastructure pilot to support connectivity at both Orchardbank Business Park in Forfar and Kirkton Industrial Estate in Arbroath.

This infrastructure uses line of sight points of contact to connect premises. Wireless broadband connection is cheaper to install than running fibre networks. It can also reach rural businesses who have visibility to Orchardbank and Kirkton.
