Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce International Week
Modern businesses should be agile, aware of their customers, keen to collaborate across borders and trade globally. Exchanging ideas with other cities about how they have overcome business challenges, innovated and used creative thinking to build sustainable and strong businesses, will give real and lasting benefits.
We believe that a strong business community is essential to the economic prosperity of Dundee & Angus. We lead the connections & experiences to build businesses by promoting the private sector, enabling businesses to attract and retain talented people and ensure that our region is seen as an innovative and ambitious place to prosper.
The DACC International Week will host a series of masterclasses to enable businesses to learn from international success stories, and help local firms tell the stories of how they are working globally.
This will be a week of inspiration and knowledge transfer.
The masterclasses will run from Tuesday 28 November to Friday 1 December and feature speakers from destination experts TripAdvisor, global leaders in learning and development solutions Insights Denmark, and experts in the customer journey, Agenda Retail from Stockholm.
The calendar of events will culminate in an International Dinner on St Andrews night, 30 November at Malmaison Dundee. Attendees at the dinner will hear from Fredrik Haggblom, CEO at Agenda Retail, a European company that works with National and International companies to create a common understanding of what the reality is, the opportunities and challenges it is facing, and of what needs to be done. Having worked with renowned brands such as Apple, Electrolux & Gore to address the challenges these companies face to be successful in a highly competitive market place, Frederik will inspire others to think about their challenges and how to address them.
