EDGE 16 Re-Opens on 9th July 2020
Firstly on behalf of the Scottish EDGE team, we hope you, your family, friends and work colleagues have remained safe during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The EDGE team have been working hard over recent weeks to support our past winners, however, it is now time to turn our attention back to delivering our competition and we’re excited to focus once again on identifying and supporting Scotland’s next batch of early-stage, innovative, high growth potential entrepreneurial talent.
We were pleased to attract a fantastic 252 applications to Round 16 earlier in the year but within a matter of weeks the world began to feel like a very different place, and while there is still uncertainty and challenges ahead we feel it is time to move forward in a spirit of optimism.
The round will be open to our original Round 16 entrants but also to brand new applicants who we know have been working on their business ideas during lockdown.
On the 9th July businesses will be able to sign in or sign up at the Scottish EDGE application portal via the Scottish EDGE website. We have added a new question relating to the impact of COVID-19 on the business and this question, which is contained within the Risk Awareness section, must be answered.
The application window will close at 2.00pm on Thursday 23rd July 2020.
