Free Floodmobile Roadshow Coming to Angus (18 to 21 March)
Local businesses, residents and communities across Angus are invited to drop into roadshow events and visit the “Floodmobile” to get advice and ideas on flood protection, equipment, and insurance information from partners Angus Council, Flood Mary, Scottish Flood Forum, SSEN and the fire service.
Organised by Angus Council, the roadshow is available at the following locations:

- Brechin – Tuesday 19 March, 12-7pm, Glebe Park
- Birkhill – Wednesday 20 March, 12-7pm, Birkhill Millennium Hall
- Carnoustie – Thursday 21 March, 10-4pm, Madisons Café, Links Parade.
Angus Council’s Convener of Communities, Cllr Mark McDonald is encouraging everyone to attend:
“With many people and businesses across the area having personal experience of flooding, we want to make sure everyone has the support and information they need to be able to plan, prepare and recover from the potential impact of any future flooding.
“I’d encourage all local residents, whether they rent privately or with the council, are home or business owners to come along to these events to get first hand expert advice and see practical property flood resilience measures in action.”
The events are free to attend, no appointments are needed, just drop in.
The events are supported by Angus Rural Partnership with funding from the Scottish Government’s Rural Community-Led Local Development Fund 2023/24.
