Improving Business Connectivity in Angus-Digital Round Up

We recognise the importance of digital connectivity for our businesses and we have made significant progress with our Digital Pilot project. This will allow improved broadband connection to companies within participating business parks and industrial estates, as well as to rural businesses who have line of sight of our key connectivity points.

Over February,  we have focussed on digital connectivity as part of our Green Economy month.  This has included a Digital Learning Event for elected members, circulation of digital update briefing papers to  elected members and community councils and attendance at the North Angus digital event held in Brechin.

If you are interested in finding out more, a short film giving an overview of the ongoing work, not just for businesses but also citizens and visitors can be found here.  At Business Angus, we are happy to meet with businesses to discuss not just digital connectivity, but also digital services and digital skills to support both your company and employees.  If you want to see if we can help then please get in touch with Kirsty Macari, Senior Sector Office by emailing MacariK@angus.gov.uk
