This marketing campaign plan aims to increase awareness of the food and drink produce and experiences available in Angus, showcasing the area as a foodie’s paradise and a premier destination for lovers of food and drink.

This aligns with the VisitScotland Marketing Calendar for 2024, which features food and drink as a key activity from June to November 2024.

This campaign will activate from July to September 2024 specifically, although food and drink will remain a key focus for Visit Angus throughout the year and beyond.

Campaign Goals

  • To increase awareness and appreciation of Angus’s food and drink products and experiences, attracting visitors to Angus to experience what’s on offer.
  • Establish Angus as a premier destination for visitors looking for quality food and drink products and experiences.
  • Drive economic growth for Angus by increasing tourism revenue.

Target Audience

  • Food and drink enthusiasts.
  • People interested in farm-to-table experiences.
  • Visitors interested in agritourism products and experiences.
  • Families looking for educational, interactive experiences such as farm tours.
