Mackays was founded in 1938 by the Mackay Brothers. Today, owned by the Grant family and based in Arbroath, they proud of their heritage and authentic products. They are a family run business that has stayed true to its values of producing small authentic batches for a quality homemade taste.
They still use the traditional method of steam heated copper pans and their soft fruits are sourced from the best local Scottish fruit farms and bitter marmalade oranges from the famous Seville region in Spain.
Mackays have been making marmalades, preserves and curds for over 70 years and now have over 25 products in the range, exporting their product worldwide.
