Manager – Economic Development
Team Member’s Role:
Leads and manages the economic development team in Angus Council. Our team is focused on Investment and Skills – business growth and advice, upskilling and skills for work and inward investment; Funding, Policy and Projects – supporting council teams, partners and community groups to develop funding bids from EU national and Lottery funds, monitor and respond to new policy and develop efficient systems to help us share info, monitor data and evaluate and record our results; and Industry Sectors ensuring we are focused on the key sectors in Angus including Tourism, Golf, Green Economy and Energy & Manufacturing.
