Montrose Rope & Sail have taken their 200 years of experience, designing and manufacturing some of the highest spec kit bags on the market, to launch The Montrose Bag Company.
They have developed a range of consumer-friendly bags and luggage, all made by hand in their workshop in Montrose.

Founded in 1789, Montrose Rope & Sail served the flourishing local fishing industry manufacturing ropes and hand-sewn sails, but in recent years they have developed a reputation for supplying kit bags that can withstand the harsh conditions of the North Sea, to the Oil & Gas industry.

Using the same skilled craftsmanship, tried and tested materials and passion for perfection, their eye-catching product lines are made from 100% waterproof PVC, tapping into the trend for creating fashion accessories using industrial materials.
