Scotland Golf Visitor Survey 2016

The Scotland Golf Visitor Survey 2016 found that the economic value of golf tourism to the local economy in 2016 was £19.6 million.

The survey includes more detailed findings on the profile of golf visitors, visitor insights and an evaluation of the visitor experience in regional results for Carnoustie Country.

VisitScotland and Scottish Enterprise commissioned the survey of golfing visitors to Scotland in 2016. The study found that the overall economic value of golf tourism to Scotland is £286 million.
