Taste of Angus Festival
Campaign Background
Angus is home to some of the most wonderful food and drink in Scotland. Arbroath Smokies, Aberdeen Angus Beef and Forfar Bridies are iconic and famous across the world, but Angus is also home to innovative companies producing everything from jam to gin.
The Taste of Angus Festival aims to to increase awareness both from businesses and consumers of the traceability, sustainability and stories of Angus’ food and drink.
The festival will tell the story and celebrate the provenance of locally grown and sourced food and drink, showcasing it at restaurants, cafes and bars throughout Angus.
How To Get Involved
Throughout the week, venues can offer exclusive events such as tastings, dinners, meet the maker and workshops. We want to see venues and producers working together to put Angus food and drink on menus across our county.
These are just some ideas of how you can get involved:
- Tastings
- Pairing dinners
- Behind the scenes tours
- Story telling
- Recipe cards
- Set menus
- Workshops
- Pop-ups
To discuss your ideas and get involved, please email Appetite for Angus.
