CASI HQ
Vision: Lead sustainable innovation and inspire collaboration.
Mission: To deliver economic, environmental and social resilience through the adoption of innovative technical solutions developed by collaborative partnerships rooted in our community.

The concept of CASI (Center for Agriculture Sustainability) emerged from discussions with the agricultural sector, as part of the Mercury Programme engagement sessions.
Farmer led, the Centre for Agricultural Sustainable Innovation will meet the industry’s needs for a place where farmers can come together to facilitate collaboration and innovation in the sector.
This will be achieved through the demonstration of innovation, commercialisation, iconic new food and drink products and world leading quality control.
CASI HQ
Building on Angus’s historical reputation in agricultural innovation, the CASI HQ will be located at The Former Mart in Forfar – a location synonymous with farming in the North East. These offices will become the hub of the project.
CASI HQ will act as a facilitation centre and networking hub, with access to support resources and services, and is fundamental to the project achieving its overarching objectives around innovation, collaboration, productivity and training and skills.
This will be a place where people come together to connect, to collaborate and to grow – to benefit all those interested in sustainable innovation.
Initial thoughts see the HQ hosting office space, test kitchen facilities, exhibition and pop up spaces for market stalls, working space for use in developing projects, conference/meeting rooms etc.
From concept to design to delivery, CASI has been and will be industry led. Further engagement sessions are planned to allow industry the opportunity to shape the design and use of this building.
