The Courier Business Awards Winners 2019

Businesses from across Tayside & Fife are celebrating after being named winners in the seventh annual Courier Business awards, held in associated with Henderson Loggie Chartered Accountants.

At a glittering awards evening at the Apex Hotel in Dundee, over 800 people celebrated with the 24 award winners at what was a truly amazing celebration of local business and talented people. The event was hosted by Phill Jupitus of Never Mind The Buzzcocks Fame, and the ever-funny Fred MacAuley.

A Fife timber firm formed during the reign of Queen Victoria was crowned overall Business of the Year; James Donaldson & Son triumphing at the glittering black tie ceremony.  The award for Outstanding Contribution was awarded to Perthshire businessman Morris Leslie, whose interests include plant hire and vehicle auction businesses.

Angus was not forgotten on the night with Jamie Craig of Rossie Young People’s Trust picking up the award for Apprentice of the Year, The J&D Wilkie Group coming out top in the Family Business (Angus) category, Balhousie Care Group triumphing in the Growth Business of the Year and Montrose based Baker Hughes in the Manufacturing Business of the Year.
