Tourism Makes An Impact In Angus
The 2016 STEAM Tourism Economic Impact research shows an increase in the volume and value of tourism to Angus.
Over 1 million tourism visits to Angus generated £227milion for the local economy last year. This compared to £202 million in 2015, an increase of 11% from 2015.
This is fantastic news for our area and the Business Angus team continue to work with tourism sector businesses to maximise the potential of leisure and business tourism driven by the opening of the V&A Museum of Design in Dundee and the return of The Open to Carnoustie in 2018.
