Join us as we host a visit from Lorna Slater MSP, Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity, at the University of Dundee. During the event we’ll hear more about the Circular Economy Bill Consultation and Green Skills, allowing members to provide feedback on issues across Dundee & Angus.

We’ll also learn more about the MSIP Skills Academy. MSIP, Skills Development Scotland and D&A College aim to establish a Skills Academy on the Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc to respond collectively to the emerging needs of the sustainable mobility and renewable energy industries and to support the creation of green jobs and skills in Scotland. With changes in the ways that people move around, the energy market and emerging opportunities in other associated industries, such as engineering, construction, transport and advanced manufacturing, the need for a multidisciplinary skills training facility at the heart of MSIP campus is well established. As well as delivering training provision, the Skills Academy will also provide innovation and partnership opportunities with the tenant companies and University partners and act as an attractor for FDI.
