SBCC members are invited to this ‘Designing Out Waste’ workshop, run by Zero Waste Scotland in partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School. It includes the opportunity for detailed discussions and interaction around producing practical solutions to reduce waste.

The aim is to tackle waste at the earliest project stage and prevent unnecessary waste being generated through a project’s lifetime.

The session will also include a focus on the construction sector which is one of the key value chains with the highest potential for circular growth. Discover how businesses are working in practice and find out about Zero Waste Scotland’s new resource link for Reducing Construction Lifecycle Waste. This is a dynamic series of practically focused resources in a logical way for users to find and act upon.

This is a practical, interactive training session, relevant to small and medium sized enterprises in Scotland who are interested in finding out how one sector is developing circular approaches. Relevant across sustainability, procurement and project teams, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, sub-contractors and designers.
