Event Description

This event is delivered by VisitScotland in partnership with Museums Galleries Scotland.

Join us for the second learning event in our Inclusive Tourism series, led by Karen Ross, Head of Consultancy at AccessAble. Karen will explore practical ways to make tourism spaces more inclusive, accessible and comfortable for a diverse range of visitors.

  • Key principles of inclusive design and why they matter in today’s tourism landscape.
  • Simple, low- to medium-cost improvements that can make a meaningful difference to accessibility and comfort.
  • Real-world examples from a range of venues to help you see how inclusive design can be applied in your own setting.

This session will provide practical insights to help you enhance your spaces and better meet the needs of a diverse range of visitors.

Follow-up support:
Anyone who attends the live session can access free, one-to-one consultancy support from AccessAble for refurbishment work planned within the next 6–12 months. Details of how to access this offer will be provided during the session.
