DJ Laing Aims to Make New Park a Success
Angus developer DJ Laing has appointed consultants Graham and Sibbald as the agent on its new commercial property project, Victoria Green.
The 14-acre site aims to generate an estimated £20 million worth of investment in the local economy and provide an opportunity for new and existing businesses to come to Carnoustie.
Dundee-based Graham and Sibbald, which has a long-standing working relationship with DJ Laing, will be the sole agent for the development.
It will be actively looking to attract local and national tenants to the modern industrial units, suitable for class 4 business, class 5 general industrial and class 6 storage and distribution use.
The business park is next to the A92.
The company says the initial phase will provide small starter units available to let to a variety of users/occupiers.
The intention is then to develop the site in stages, with a mix of small, medium or large industrial units suitable for commercial use, including office accommodation.
Andrew Dandie, partner of Graham and Sibbald Dundee, said the proposed development is already attracting interest from parties across the country.
He said: “It’s great to be working with our long-standing clients DJ Laing on this exciting new project. There has long been a shortage of new industrial development throughout Angus and especially for Carnoustie, with the benefits of its location between Arbroath and Dundee and ready access to the A92.
“We are already seeing interest in a number of the units from both local and national occupiers.”
David Laing, company chairman, added: “We are delighted to be working with Graham and Sibbald to create high-quality business and industrial space in Carnoustie.
“Victoria Green will provide businesses with an opportunity to relocate and thrive in a superb location that offers much more than just a base for business.”
