Angus Council Vibrant Communities, in collaboration with Angus Rural Partnership, have commissioned a programme of events for community groups and organisations.

The new programme of workshops will help local groups and organisations:

• successfully form a sustainable group
• plan their projects
• apply for funding
• deliver their aspirations

How do community-based groups take a stake in, or ownership of, previously publicly owned land or buildings? What options are available to communities for acquiring private land or buildings through Community Right to Buy?

This online workshop offers an overview about what is involved in community ownership, and the range of support and advice on offer, from the first steps to the completion of an asset transfer or Community Right to Buy process.
