This drop-in event will showcase a range of innovative training, simulation and administration platforms attendees can experience firsthand.

Angus Council, in partnership with Montrose Port Authority, recognises that a Skills Academy will offer targeted training programmes to develop the necessary competencies, ensuring local workers can meet the current and future needs of employers and the changing economy.

The purpose of the Skills Academy, which will be based at Montrose Port, is to address the evolving needs of businesses in the region by providing a up to date, relevant skills for the region’s workforce.

By offering world-class training and development opportunities, Angus Council aims to make the Montrose region more attractive for skilled professionals and employers alike. Retaining and building local talent is crucial for fostering long-term economic growth and prosperity in the area.
