In-person Event

Event Description

Join Core Community Group members Carole and Matthew Short at Down on the Farm in Aberdeenshire for a tour of their agritourism business, a farm walk and the opportunity to learn more about their new venture, Rosehearty Rhubarb.

This meeting will focus on developing and launching a new venture with a special focus on marketing. Participants will share what is working and not working for their business currently relating to marketing and communications. We will also be looking at booking systems for selling experiences on farm.

The new rhubarb patch offers pick your own and offers a variety of rhubarb-infused treats including drinks, muffins, crumbles, jams, chutneys, and pies—all made on the farm with produce from their patch. Also on offer is an array of rhubarb-themed gifts like scented candles, books, lotions, beautifully packaged soap and confectionery.

All are welcome at this free event supporting agritourism and wider rural businesses.
