Montrose Port Triumph at Multimodal Awards

Montrose Port won the Innovation in Port Safety of the Year Award at the Multimodal Awards ceremony held at the NEC on Tuesday, 14 June.

Safety is the top priority within the port so it was an honour to receive this award in partnership with one of the Port’s longest-standing tenants Baker Hughes, especially being the only Scottish port shortlisted across all categories. This award is a testament to all the hard work and dedication of both teams.

The judging panel comprised of Debbie Cavaldoro, Chief Executive, Port Skills and Safety Limited; Danny Clayton, Managing Director of Droptop Business Solutions; Sharon Greer, General Manager, Agency Sector Management; Robert Keen, Director-General of British International Freight Association (BIFA); Robert Jervis, Portfolio Director of Multimodal; Peter Livey FCILT, Managing Director (Great Britain) of HMM (Europe) Limited & Global Sustainability Ambassador for HMM, Emma Murray, CEO and founder of Meantime Communications, Maggie Simpson OBE, Director General of Rail Freight Group and David Wells, Chief Executive, Logistics UK.
