Angus Dundee Distillers Secures Multiple Gold Medals at International Spirits Challenge

Angus Dundee Distillers has achieved significant recognition at the 2026 International Spirits Challenge, with eight gold medals awarded across its range of single malt whiskies.

The awards highlight the quality and consistency of expressions from the company’s three distilleries Tomintoul, Glencadam and Old Ballantruan each recognised for their distinct character and craftsmanship.

Tomintoul was awarded gold medals for its Cigar Malt, 14 Year Old Pedro Ximénez Sherry Quarter Cask Finish and 21 Year Old. The result for the 21 Year Old marks its fourth consecutive gold at the competition, underlining the sustained performance of the expression.

Glencadam secured four gold medals, including for its 10 Year Old, Reserva PX, 18 Year Old and the recently introduced 17 Year Old Réserve de Calvados. Both the Reserva PX and 18 Year Old have now received gold awards for three consecutive years, while the 17 Year Old gained recognition in its first appearance at the competition.

Old Ballantruan 10 Year Old also received a gold medal, acknowledging the quality of the distillery’s heavily peated single malt.

The results reflect Angus Dundee Distillers’ continued focus on traditional production methods, technical expertise and attention to detail across its portfolio.
