Scottish Engineering Specialist Expands International Presence with Launch of Brazilian Subsidiary

Scottish engineering and integrity management consultancy Opus Integrity Ltd has announced the establishment of Opus Integrity do Brasil, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued international growth strategy.

The new Brazilian subsidiary strengthens Opus Integrity’s presence in one of the world’s most active energy markets and demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting clients across South America with local expertise and responsive in-country services.

Founded in Scotland, Opus Integrity has built a reputation for delivering specialist engineering, inspection, integrity management and technical assurance services to operators and contractors throughout the global energy sector. Specialising in Late Life Asset Integrity, the company currently supports projects across South America, West Africa, the Far East and other international regions.

The launch of Opus Integrity do Brasil will enable the business to provide enhanced support to existing clients operating within Brazil’s expanding oil and gas sector, while creating new opportunities to develop local partnerships and recruit Brazilian engineering talent.

Richard Latimer, Director of Opus Integrity Ltd, said:

“The establishment of Opus Integrity do Brasil represents an important milestone in the continued development of our business. Brazil is one of the most significant energy markets in the world and we have been supporting projects throughout the region for several years. By creating a dedicated local business, our local team can work even closer with our clients, strengthen relationships within the Brazilian market and continue delivering the high standards of technical excellence for which Opus Integrity is known.”

Despite challenging conditions across parts of the global energy sector in recent years, Scottish engineering companies continue to export expertise and technical innovation around the world. Opus Integrity’s expansion reflects the increasing international demand for specialist integrity management, inspection and engineering services developed within Scotland’s internationally recognised energy cluster.

The company believes the move will support further sustainable growth while reinforcing its long-term commitment to international energy markets as they continue to evolve through both traditional and emerging energy developments.

Murray Emslie, Director of Opus Integrity Ltd, added:

“Scotland has an outstanding reputation for engineering excellence, particularly within the offshore energy sector. We are proud to be taking Scottish expertise into international markets and demonstrating that smaller independent businesses can successfully compete on a global stage.”

The company expects the Brazilian operation to support continued business growth across South America and further strengthen Opus Integrity’s position as a trusted engineering partner for clients operating in complex and challenging environments worldwide.
