Storage units plan in latest stage of Carnoustie business park project
Secure storage units are the latest stage of planned expansion for a Carnoustie business park.
Local firm DJ Laing is awaiting consideration of a planning application lodged with Angus Council for the Victoria Green project.
It relates to land on the south east corner of the business park, opposite the Persimmon Homes’ Greenlaw Park development.
There would be 23 storage units in a secure compound.
The business park is close to the A92.
“The units will be used by members of the public for general storage purposes,” states the application.
“The compound will also be equipped with CCTV and external lighting to ensure security and safe operation.”
DJ Laing say it will allow the storage containers to be relocated from a current site at Panmure Industrial Estate.
The Pitskelly site has already seen the creation of a number of starter units.
Phase one of the 14-acre commercial development is fully let and permission has been granted for other business units.
