Will you seize chance to shine at The Courier Business Awards 2026?

Entries are officially open for The Courier Business Awards 2026. Held in partnership with accountancy firm Henderson Loggie, the awards celebrate the very best companies and entrepreneurs operating in Dundee, Angus, Fife, Perthshire and Stirling.

Trophies were presented in front of more than 700 people at last year’s black-tie ceremony at Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee.

Dundee company Direct Soccer, which offers bespoke sports kits using a sophisticated online platform, was crowned Business of the Year. Arbroath’s ESP Group was the first winner of our new Employer of the Year category. Other winners included Clark’s Bakery, AJ Renewables, Braw Tea, Radix and Scone Palace.

The Courier Business Awards celebrate companies large and small who operate across a range of sectors. Categories include brand marketing and social media, apprentice, growth, family, small business, community and service.

David Clegg, editor of The Courier, said:

“The Courier Business Awards are about recognising the businesses and individuals helping drive this region forward.

“We spend every day reporting on the opportunities and challenges facing firms across Dundee, Angus, Fife, Perthshire and Stirling, and we know there is no shortage of ambition, innovation and hard work in this part of the country.

“These awards are a chance to celebrate that properly – to shine a light on success, acknowledge the people behind it and bring the business community together.

“We want to hear from companies of every size and at every stage, from established names to growing firms with fresh ideas and momentum.

“If your business has achieved something worth shouting about, I would encourage you to enter and be part of a night that celebrates the talent, energy and enterprise of our area.”

Entries close at 5pm on Monday July 20. Companies shortlisted will then be visited by senior members of The Courier and Henderson Loggie before the winners are announced at our ceremony on Friday October 30.

David Smith, managing partner of Henderson Loggie, said:

“Each year, the Courier Business Awards showcase the energy and determination that drive our local economy, from bold entrepreneurs and innovative leaders to dedicated teams who work tirelessly to make their businesses thrive.

“The Courier Business Awards are about more than recognition, they tell the story of a region rich in talent, ideas and opportunity.

“We’re proud to play our part in celebrating these achievements and the organisations shaping the future of our communities.
