Spirits Producer Thrilled by Role in Film
Arbroath-based producer and distributor Toll House Spirits is celebrating being chosen to collaborate in the release of Hollywood Studios Searchlight Pictures’ new movie Wild Horse Nine, which hist cinemas this month.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Chile’s Easter Island (Rapa Nui), Wild Horse Nine provides a cultural touchpoint for Chilean heritage, storytelling and landscape and is co-related through Film4.
The 2026 black comedy political thriller stars John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Tom Waits and Parker Posey.
As exclusive UK distributor of renowned popular Chilean grape brandy Capel Pisco, produced in the sunny Elqui Valley of northern Chile, Toll House Spirits has been invited to participate in the promotional celebrations for the film’s release.
Founded by Fiona Walsh, the business brings together over 25 years of global drinks industry sales and marketing expertise.
Fiona leads the day-to-day operations and sales activity, supported by her husband John, who oversees production, forecasting, procurement, stock control and online operations.
At the heart of the celebration is Capel’s Moai Reservado Pisco, an aged spirit presented in an unique bottle sculpted in tribute to Easter Island’s word-famous moai monoliths.
Fiona said:
“While we are not an official sponsor of the production, being invited to support the UK promotional launch because of Capel Pisco is a tremendous nod to the provenance and authenticity of what we distribute.”
